We have had a very interesting and productive week in the Math/Science Lab. In Math we started with place value in all grades. The students completed puzzles, cut and paste and coloring activities.
In Science the first graders learned about eye color and completed a graph. The second grade learned all about germs and how germs spread. In third grade, we cracked eggs in a bowl and learned all the parts. Fourth graders learned about erosion y doing an experiment with student made glaciers. Fifth graders learned about the classification of vertebrates with an activity called "just a drop in the bucket". In sixth grade we observed plant and animal cells under the microscope.
